Septic Services For All Types of Cesspools

Block Cesspools Vs. Precast Cesspools

  • Homes built from 1960 to 1965 could have either a block or precast cesspool.
  • Pre-1959 homes usually have Block cesspools. Homes built after 1965 usually have precast cesspools.
  • If you have a block cesspool, NEVER pump all the water out of the cesspool as it could cause a collapse.
  • A precast cesspool will never collapse.
  • With precast cesspools – you should always try to pull the whole cover on the main pool, which is 32 inches in circumference, to allow all solids to be pumped out. This should be done every couple of years.
  • Schedule an annual septic service or cesspool maintenance service with Quality Cesspool.
A concrete well ring with a blue PVC pipe connected to it is partially buried in the ground. Surrounding the well are patches of grass and soil. The well ring appears to be part of a water management or drainage system, possibly related to septic tank cleaning in Suffolk County.
Vertical cylindrical concrete structures, reminiscent of septic tanks, are stacked closely together. These structures have a grid-like pattern of rectangular openings covering their surfaces, giving them a vented appearance. Sunlight illuminates the scene, highlighting the industrial design.
